New Venue, Ripple Cafe in Stratford!

Want2Dance have opened a new venue, a freestyle chill at the Ripple Cafe every other Sunday afternoon. The feedback from all those that attended the first dance was great, the nightclub atmosphere will make this a very popular venue. The freestyle will start at 6pm and finish at 10pm. The price for the evening is £6. The Ripple Cafe is set on the edge of the park and overlooks the river, and offers a wonderful setting. Full directions can be found by clicking Venues above.

Charity Fun and Dance Evening

The Relay for life freestyle event was a great success and was held to raise funds for Cancer Research UK. In total more than £800 was raised for the charity. The highlight of the evening was the Double Trouble class presented by our own lovely ladies John and Eddie.

New Members

We would also like to welcome any one who is reading this for the first time and has not yet plucked up the courage to come along and to one of our classes.

Modern jive is the fastest growing dance style in the UK and combines a number Latin styles. The Want2Dance teaching methods make learning modern jive easy and fun, and by the end of the first evening you will be dancing at least four new moves. Modern jive is great exercise and you will meet lots of like-minded people, but be aware, modern jive is addictive!

Grieg Hall

Our dance classes have been held at the Grieg Hall since the begining of the year, much to the delight of all our members. The new facility is much more suitable and offers a great dance floor. Classes are held on a Thursday evening starting at 7.45 pm and the last dance at 10.45pm.
